Bluegrass Gospel Jam is this Sat Nov 14 in the banquet room at Johnson’s Corner Truck Stop off I-25 south of Loveland 12:00-4:00

There will be no food served inside the banquet room during the jam. If musicians and audience wish to eat before, during, or after the Jam, they must go to the front desk and let the hostess seat them. The Bluegrass Gospel Jams have been increasing so much in numbers and participation, that we have simply caused an overload on the Johnson’s Corner system of staff and cooks. We have removed the tables in the banquet room for extra seating for more audience.

Please park north of the banquet room across the street at the Johnson Corner Chapel so that we do not consume too much parking space for Johnson’s Corner guests.

Several of us will be meeting for breakfast at 10:30 AM (before the Jam starts)

A group of us will also have supper in the customer dining area immediately after the Jam. During the Jam, let me, or Dianne, know approximately how many, so we can alert the restaurant.

We are now scheduled at Johnson’s Corner for the second Saturday of every month for all of year 2010. Johnson’s Corner has now become our anchor location for the Bluegrass Gospel Jams. We do need new local and national locations that want to host the Bluegrass Gospel Jams. If you know of a location, let me know so we can contact them and schedule them in. Do you want to help with the Bluegrass Gospel Jams? I have room for you.

Jams are held in Fort Collins, Longmont, Johnson’s Corner (Loveland), Masonville, Lyons, Pierce, Estes Park, Sutton’s Barn, Greeley, Galeton, Sterling, Nunn, Franktown, Calhan, Brooksville, Florida, Attleboro, Massachusetts, and new upcoming locations. Hey Everyone! 
Our next Old-Time Gospel Bluegrass Jam is this Sunday,  November 8th from 2:00 to 5:00  at Pikes Peak Grange – 3093 N. Highway 83 in Franktown, one mile north of Highway 86!  Look for our red checkered banner!

 This time we’re going casual, with chairs in a semi-circle, so we all can sit down, relax and have a great time jamming!  So, instead of “performing” to an audience of half a dozen people,  we’ll consider anyone who wonders in and sits down, a potential jammer.  So if you have an extra guitar (or whatever) you don’t mind sharing during the jam, bring it along.  Kathy’s killer chocolate chip cookies will be available for a small donation to the OTGB Scholarship Instrument Fund.

   this month’s special guests are IN HIS SERVICE, a southern gospel/contemporary group from Cornerstone Church in Windsor
 
Music social time at 8 pm
   we will finish the left overs, share stories, music and probably a bad joke or two
       everyone regardless of age, abillity and instrument is welcome to join in and play
 
The evening is free, we will take an offering for our special guests.
