Gospel Jam Concept

Bluegrass Gospel Jam Concept

We encourage beginner musicians primarily because there is rarely a place where beginner and average musicians can participate. When we all come together and play together, learning accelerates for everyone. My job is to encourage people to try… and to step out on faith, even when they don’t know where the step of faith will lead. The gospel jams act as magnets, attracting both performer musicians and participating musicians of all ages. We encourage young people participation. We want to preserve our old time gospel songs that have withstood the passage of time. As family and friends, we want to revive that feeling of sitting around the fireplace in the family room, making music together. The gospel jams offer a welcome respite for tired travelers, hurrying families, and people who don’t have time for pure wholesome fun. We attract and welcome both believers and non-believers. Through music and participation, we minister to both musicians and spectators.

These are not my Jams… I have a partner relationship with God. I do the inviting and encouraging. God supplies the attendees and participants.

Hebrews 13: 1 “Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”
